WhySwimming Matters

Swimming is an essential life skill and a fun, healthy activity for kids of all ages. Tragically, drowning remains a leading cause of death for children under 4 years old. At FINTASTIC Swim Academy, we are committed to changing this. Through our customized curriculum and community outreach programs, including our free water safety education, we aim to reduce these tragedies and create more safe swimmers, one lesson at a time.

Leading Cause of Death for Young Children: Drowning is the #1 cause of death for children aged 1 to 4 in the U.S. (CDC)

Annual Drowning Fatalities: Over 4,000 people die from unintentional drowning each year in the U.S. (~11 deaths per day). (CDC)
